Page Load
The Page Load Monitor checks how your webpage loads for users by using a real browser. It makes sure your page loads correctly and checks for any issues with its content, like missing elements.
The results of the Page Load test are divided into tabs that show data from your webpage. For example:
- Results Tab: Here, you’ll find various statistics about your Page Load test. This includes your page’s status, where the test was done, and a picture of the page. You can also see details about how quickly your page loads for users, including element timings and sizes. If something like isn’t loading right, you’ll find that under “Issues & Element Errors.”
- Failure Analysis Tab: This is split into 4 sections: Visual, Elements, Waterfall, and Browser Log. Using this helps you compare a test that failed with one that passed, which can help you figure out problems.
- Waterfall Chart: This is a of how resources load on your page. It’s in order of time, so you can see exactly when things load. It is great for seeing if anything is particularly slowing down your page!
- Elements List: This is like the waterfall but in a list. It shows all the things loading on your page.
- Third Parties Tab: This shows info about third-party stuff on your site. These are things not from your site but added to give more features, like payment gateways or social media plugins. The tab helps you keep track of these. If you have too many, your site might get slower. The tab also has a graph showing the slowest third-party things on your page.
