Scoring

Lighthouse scores are split into 5 categories: Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, SEO and PWA (Progressive Web App).

It provides scores in each of these categories:

Performance Score: Measures how fast a web page loads and renders, with a score ranging from 0 to 100. Higher scores indicate better performance.
Accessibility Score: Evaluates a web page’s accessibility based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), with a score from 0 to 100. Higher scores mean better accessibility for all users.
Best Practices Score: Assesses adherence to web development best practices, with a score from 0 to 100. Higher scores indicate better adherence to industry standards.
SEO Score: Checks on-page SEO factors for search engine optimization, with a score from 0 to 100. Higher scores imply better search engine ranking potential.
PWA Score: If applicable, evaluates a web app as a Progressive Web App, with a score from 0 to 100. Higher scores indicate a more feature-rich PWA.
