RapidSpike monitors have the option to add custom headers
Custom headers are additional HTTP headers that can be included in an HTTP request or response. HTTP headers are pieces of information that provide information between the web browser (the client) and the server. They are made up of a key and a value. This can be used to communicate from RapidSpike monitors to the server we are monitoring.
There are many reasons you might add a custom header to Rapidspike. Here are a few examples:
To add your custom header in RapidSpike, you should go to the monitor you want to add the header to (e.g. a User Journey) and navigate to the monitor settings. There is a custom header tab. Here you should type in the key and the value and click add custom header.
