Adding Uptime Monitors for your Webpages or Servers
Uptime Monitors can be added to pages or servers. You can follow our documentation to show you how to do this:
Webpages
You get the option to add an Uptime Monitor when you create a new page on RapidSpike; however, you can also create a new uptime monitor from the Homepage
As you can see, Uptime is one of the Options when setting up a new page.
To add an uptime monitor to your webpage, it is quite simple.
- Click Create and look for “Page Uptime”
- Configure the monitor settings. There are a few options which we will look at later on.
- Click Create Monitor.
Now, RapidSpike will keep an eye on your webpage and notify you if it goes down.
Click Create and choose the Uptime Option
Servers
You can add a ping monitor when you add the server monitor to RapidSpike

To add a Ping or Port (TCP) Uptime monitor to your server, you can follow a similar set of steps to adding one to a new webpage.
- Click Create and look for “Ping/Port Monitors”
- Configure the monitor settings. Fill out the options as needed.
- Click Create Monitor.
